Where are the tigers?
I`m not sure what I read. It`s more 2,5 stars, because it was ok and some parts I liked, but I couldn`t get a grip on the story. It`s like something is going on and nothing is happening at the same time. Not what I expected. The synopsis was SO promising, but the book didn`t live up to my expectations. The mood was somewhat flat and not as dark as it could be. The plot wasn`t so life changing for characters as promised. Worst of all, there is not a single character to be liked and related to. Still I liked the 1960s atmosphere and author`s style is quite beautiful. Reminded me of "The Great Gatsby" and "Breakfast at Tiffany`s".
