Smart kid
I don`t know how it happened but this was my first encounter with Roald Dahl. Somehow I have mised him for years. Anyway "Matilda" is such a funny and smart children`s book and I`m sorry I didn`t read as a child. As an adult I found some places too exaggerated. Besides everything is so simple, there is no middle ground. Headmistress is almost like some creature from hell and Miss Honey could be an angel. So this book is more for children, although I enjoyed it quite a lot.
